PTS Training Academy is proud to be the strategic sponsors of this year’s TransCityRail Midlands conference, held on the 18th of July at The Vox Conference Centre, Birmingham. This event will be a great coming together of people from all across the rail industry and supply chain.
We see the Midlands as the main area for investment in rail, due to the major growth of the sector across the region. As the industry of rail evolves and advances, so too will training needs and opportunities in the form of apprenticeships, traineeships, and short sector-specific courses.
With HS2 in progress, there will be an even greater need for workers to be equipped with the skills and expertise to successfully carry through this project. It is therefore vital that companies invest in their training programmes and connect with training providers such as PTS Training Academy to ensure they are able to meet this call to rail, and further business opportunities and growth of the region.
Looking into the future, we see the rail industry developing dramatically across the Midlands, making it a key transport link to the rest of the nation, and a hub of activity and opportunity. There will be a complete revolution of rail services within the region, leading to an enhanced and strengthened rail supply chain.
We at PTS Training Academy hope to contribute as much as possible to the growth of rail in the Midlands by supporting the learning and development of those working within the sector, providing training and guidance. Whether this be through a Rail Engineering apprenticeship or a short but comprehensive Personal Track Safety course, we strive to provide bespoke training solutions that meet the unique needs of every individual, regardless of what stage they are in their career, and which area of the rail supply chain they work in.
Come and see us at the conference on the 18th July to discuss the many ways in which we can help individuals gain the skills and training needed to be successful within the rapidly expanding Midlands rail sector, and how we can work with employers to address any skills gaps or shortages. Alternatively, drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or give us a call on 01604 491622.
We look forward to connecting with the rail supply chain at TransCityRail, and building partnerships and a community within the industry.
